Mind Magic and Social Buffs

I am of the opinion that, especially at higher Arcana levels of play, having a single spell that increases both Mental and Social Attribute ratings is a little unbalanced, in comparison to the spell that increases only Physical Attributes. To this end, I have divided the Mind effect into two separate effects, as follows:

Mind •••

  • Augment the Mind: (Instant; Prolonged; 1 Mana); May increase a single Mental Attribute by +1/success (max. dots in Mind); only highest Potency spell applies, even if spells augment different Attributes.
  • Augment the Spirit: (Instant; Prolonged; 1 Mana); May increase a single Social Attribute by +1/success (max. dots in Mind); only highest Potency spell applies, even if spells augment different Attributes.

Mind ••••

  • Augment Other Minds: (Instant/Contested [Resolve + Gnosis]; Prolonged; Vulgar; 1 Mana); As "Augment the Mind," but used on others.
  • Augment Other Spirits: (Instant/Contested [Resolve + Gnosis]; Prolonged; Vulgar; 1 Mana); As "Augment the Spirit," but used on others.
  • Supreme Augmentation of the Mind: (Instant; Prolonged; 1 Mana); As "Augment the Mind," but may increase more than one Mental Attribute at a time (any trait limited to a bonus of dots in Mind). Mind ••••• to use on others.
  • Supreme Augmentation of the Spirit: (Instant; Prolonged; 1 Mana); As "Augment the Spirit," but may increase more than one Social Attribute at a time (any trait limited to a bonus of dots in Mind). Mind ••••• to use on others.

Mind •••••

  • Master's Augmentation: (Instant; Prolonged; 1 Mana); As "Supreme Augmentation of Mind," but may increase more than one Mental or Social Attribute at a time (any trait limited to a bonus of dots in Mind).

Mind ••••• + Life ••••

  • Arete: (Instant; Prolonged; 1 Mana); As “Supreme Honing” and “Master's Augmentation,” allowing the increase of any Physical, Mental or Social Attributes at a time (any trait limited to a bonus of dots in Mind or Life, as appropriate)
