Taevis Hill Domain

  • Terrain: Hills
  • Features: Dense Woods, Ruins

Though thought of as something of a wild, undomesticated land, Taevis Hill is home to a number of peoples. These aren't the smallfolk of the rest of the North, however. The peoples of Taevis Hill are Wolfswood clansmen, a wild-dwelling semi-tribal people with strong lines of descent from the First Men. Taevis Hill is home to members of the Bole, Branch and Leaf clans.

Features

  • Hill of the First Men: The tallest hill in the domain is home to an old set of ruins, the remains of a hill-fort of the First Men.
  • Godswood: Tucked away in the woods, between Farglade and Sernett Hold, is an ancient godswood. The heart-tree here is massive, rising above the godswood, its red-leafed branches like a crimson cathedral.

Estates

  • Farglade: A Branch clanhold, Farglade is closest to the road, and sees the most traffic of all the Taevis Hill clanholds (which isn't saying much). They took terrible damage from the bandits, but have come a long way towards rebuilding. Many of the Farglade peoples have opted to move deeper into the domain's woodlands, or away entirely.
  • Sernett Hold: A Bole clanhold, Sernett Hold was badly damaged by bandits.
  • Crescent Lake Hold: Nestled in a fertile valley between two hills, and set next to the fish-rich Crescent Lake, this Bole clanhold is the most isolated of the Taevis Hill clanholds.
  • Redleaf: A small Leaf clanhold, Redleaf is named for the trio of weirwoods in the middle of their clanhold. Although not a proper godswood, the people of Redleaf hold the space as important, if not sacred, and their hold-moots are held within it. They have forbidden any kind of violence within the shelter of the three weirwoods.
