In Sharn
The following are generally and publicly known places to receive training in the use of combat tactics and techniques (i.e. Exploits).
- House Deneith Schools: House Deneith maintains several "Martial Skills Academies" where they formally teach dueling and other fighting arts to paying students.
- Underground Fighting Circles: Some of the fighters at the Burning Ring and the various other underground fighting arenas also make coin outside of the ring by teaching those who are interested in learning.
- Mercenary Companies: Though companies do not themselves teach outsiders, the veterans and drill officers of many mercenary companies do occasionally take on a student outside of the company, if the pay is right.
- The Sharn City Watch: Like mercenary companies, the Guard maintains a body of instructors to teach its troops, some of whom are amenable to taking on students outside of their professional hours.
- Adventurers & Sellswords: Many adventurers and sellswords have long patches of time between their normal contracts or tasks, and seek to fill that time and their purses by taking on students in the fighting arts.
