The Powell Chrestomathy is the main caucus for all of the mystagogues of Oregon and southern Washington (northern Washington and Seattle mystagogues generally belong to another Caucus in British Columbia). For many years, it languished in terms of power, kept relatively neutered by the Guardians of the Veil in power in Portland. But with Agrippa's ascension to the Rose Seat, all that has changed, and the Chrestomathy has caught up in power fairly quickly.

Caucus House: Powell's City of Books
Arguably the world's largest used book store, Powell's is several stories in height and a full block square. It is also a repository for many arcane secrets gathered in the Pacific Northwest by the eccentric and odd scholars who belong to the Chrestomathy. Secret repositories are tucked away in spatial pockets here and there, accessible only by walking a specific pattern while holding specific books.
Even these are nothing compared to the Secret Vaults: a vast subterranean chamber accessible from the store's elevators by pushing several buttons at the same time (exactly which buttons change routinely) and investing a point of Mana into the elevator, which is an imbued item.
