Building Type 1
Building Type One: 2 shops, 2 chambers, hall and kitchens. Ground floor has two shops (often leased out to others), a Hall, with storage and kitchens attached. Stairs from the hall lead up to the chambers upstairs.
Building Type 2
Building Type Two: Hall + parlour + 2 chambers. A central hall, flanked by a parlor and storage spaces. Stairs to either side of the hall each lead up to a single chamber.
Building Type 3
Building Type Three: Shop + hall + kitchen + 2 chambers + undercroft. Single store-front for the owner's business, with a hall and kitchen behind it. Stairs from hall lead up to two chambers above, and trap doors from shop and kitchens lead down to a very large undercroft.
Building Type 4
Building Type Four: Hall + parlour + kitchens + 2 chambers. Hall, with parlor and storage that leads to kitchens. Stairs from hall lead up to two chambers upstairs.
Building Type 5
Building Type Five: Hall + parlour + chamber + separate kitchens. Ground floor hall with central hearth and large parlour, with stairs leading up to bedchamber above. Separate building houses kitchens and storage.
Building Type 6
Building Type Six: 3 shops (w/chambers & cellars) + 2 shops (w/cellars) + Hall + kitchen + 2 chambers + cellars. Storefront building, with five small shops (all of which have cellars, and three of which have chambers above). Rest of ground floor has a private kitchens and hall, with kitchen stairs up to a chamber above, and kitchen stairs to a cellars below.
Building Type 7
Building Type Seven: Hall + kitchen + bedchamber. Small building, with ground-floor hall and kitchens. Outside garden stairs lead to chamber above kitchens.
Building Type 8
Building Type Eight: Hall + chamber. Small building, with ground-floor hall, and stairs up to chamber above.
Building Type 9
Building Type Nine: 2-story hall + courtyard + 2 parlors + 2 chambers + office + kitchens. Fine home, with ground-floor hall-and-office, three storage chambers (usually for mercantile goods), parlor, bedchamber and kitchens, all around a courtyard. Courtyard stairs lead upstairs to a second hall and parlor and two chambers.
Building Type 10
Building Type Ten: Shop + hall + office + 2 chambers + courtyard + separate kitchens. Long shop-building, with shop entrance under an overhang, with hall, office and courtyard behind it, and kitchens in a separate building. Passage between hall and office has stairs that lead up to two chambers and an antechamber in floor above. Courtyard stairs lead down to extensive cellars.
