Founded not quite twenty years ago, House Ameth is a landed knight's household who were elevated and given the Karmandy domain to manage and defend by their liege Lord Caesmyr Filendus after the death of Risilus Filendus left Karmandy in need of governance.

Karmandy

Domain: Hills; River (Lands 10)
Hilly, with the sandy soil that makes it perfect for the cultivation of grapes, Karmandy is the beginning of Three-Rivers "wine domains."

  • Vineyards & Vintners: The wineries of Karmandy compete with the best the Three-Rivers has to offer, favoring tartly sweet dark grapes over lighter varieties.
  • The Fighting Pit: In the hills of Karmandy lies the Fighting Pit, a favored diversion of Sir Kriglun Ameth. Bloodsports are the order of the day, and the twice-monthly events draw both competitors and gamblers from all around the Three-Rivers, including some of its nobility.

Forces

  • Riders of Karmandy: Trained Cavalry (8)
  • Karmandy Garrison: Trained Garrison (5)

Members of the House

Sir Kriglun Ameth
Landed Knight (Vassal) • 44 years
When Lord Filendus granted Sir Kriglun the lands of Karmandy, he had a single requirement: that he marry the daughter of the old steward of those lands. Sir Kriglun was willing to do whatever it took to achieve such heights, and was doubly surprised when Lucinde turned out to be such a beauty. Although a relatively simple man given to violence as a first and last resort, he is deeply enamored with Lucinde, although also aware that she does not return his affection. Still, they have made a good life together, and he loves their children and home life, and is willing to commit acts of bloody atrocity to keep them.

Lucinde Ameth
Kriglun's Consort • 40 years
Daughter of the former steward of Karmandy's vineyards and wineries, if there is one thing Lucinde knows well, it is wine-making. She is happy with her elevation, even if her relationship with Sir Kriglun is more alliance than love-match. Still, she loves her children and is happy with the life she has shaped for herself.
Arnul-ameth.jpg
Sir Arnul Ameth
Kriglun's Firstborn Son, Heir • 19 years
One of the household knights for House Filendus, Arnul is itching for the chance to prove himself worthy of elevation into one of the knightly orders – ideally, the same order to which Stalwart Dame Aumera Filendus belongs. For all that she still treats him as a green squire, Arnul is sure that if he is given a chance, he can impress her and Lord Filendus both.
Roenal-ameth.jpg
Roenal Ameth
Kriglun's Secondborn Son, Aumera's Squire • 16 years
Dame Aumera's squire is a quiet, cunning boy who watches and listens first. In this capacity, he has gained the notice of Lord Filendus, who sees in the boy some of his own traits. Roenal finds his older brother to be a bit of a capering idiot, although he is careful to give him proper respect in public.
