Overlooking the sparkling, cold waters of Loch Winter, Lochside is built half out onto the water proper, with construction upon the mighty stone pillars sunk into the loch's floor by dwarven craftsfolk of old. Lochside has some degree of agriculture, although a great deal of it goes into goods used to make wine, beer, ale, and other fermented drinks from. Additionally, Lochside is the nearest settlement to the many lumber camps at the edge of the Thanewood, so it is a slightly wild place with some very fine woodworkers.
