Cruisers

MandalMotors "Keldabe"-class Battleship
Keldabe-battleship.jpg 200 million credits • Rarity 8R
Hyperdrive: Class 2 (Backup 10) • Navicomputer: Yes • Sensor Range: Long
Crew: 6000 crew • Passengers: 1000 troops, 36 starfighters • Consumables: Two years • Cargo: 8000 Encumbrance
Weapons: Five dorsal and ten port and ten starboard turret-mounted heavy turbolasers, five ventral and five port and five starboard heavy ion cannons, two forward-mounted mass driver missile launchers, five forward-mounted heavy tractor beam emitters
A modern and effective warship, the design for the Keldabe was stolen from MandalMotors by the criminal Zann Consortium. The design is a potent weapon capable of standing up to even an Imperial star destroyer. It is also fitted with an unusual device that can drain an enemy's shields and shunt the power into the Keldabe's own systems.

Mon Calamari MC40a Light Cruiser
MC40a-cruiser.jpg 15.5 million credits • Rarity 6R
Hyperdrive: Class 1 (Class 15) • Navicomputer: Yes • Sensor Range: Long
Crew: 3770 officers, pilots, and crew • Passengers: 650 troops; 12 starfighters • Consumables: Two years • Cargo: 5000 Encumbrance (depending on configuration)
Weapons: Seven port and seven starboard turret-mounted medium turbolasers, two forward-mounted concussion missile launchers, five starboard and five port and four forward and four after medium ion cannons, two starboard and two port and one forward and one aft heavy tractor beam emitters
Built as a well-rounded support ship and command vessel, the MC40a has exceptionally powerful shields and can take considerable punishment. Unfortunately, it also tends to be slower than other ships of its class. The MC40a is frequently deployed as a command vessel for a light attack fleet, capable of transporting nearly a battalion of troops, as well as a squadron of starfighters to provide close support.

Rendili "Dreadnought"-class Heavy Cruiser
Dreadnought-heavy-cruiser.jpg 7.2 million credits • Rarity 6
Hyperdrive: Class 4 (Backup 18) • Navicomputer: Yes • Sensor Range: Medium
Crew: 9000 to 16,000 officers, pilots, and enlisted crew • Passengers: 3000 troops; 12 starfighters • Consumables: One year • Cargo: 7500 Encumbrance
Weapons: Five forward and five aft twin turbolaser batteries, ten port and ten starboard quad light turbolasers, five port and five starboard heavy laser cannons
Considered old as of the outbreak of the Clone Wars, the Dreadnought is still regarded as one of the more capable vessels of its class. Designed with heavy space combat and planetary occupation in mind, the Dreadnought has served in planetary governments and major corporate armies as well as in the Imperial Navy and Rebel Alliance. The vessel has a hangar that can carry a single squadron of starfighters and an impressive array of heavy weapon emplacements.

Rendili "Neutron Star"-class Bulk Cruiser
NeutronStar-cruiser.jpg 2.8 million credits • Rarity 4
Hyperdrive: Class 3 (Backup 20) • Navicomputer: Yes • Sensor Range: Long

Weapons: Ten port and ten starboard and four forward heavy bulk cruiser turbolasers, ten port and ten starboard and five dorsal heavy laser cannons, two forward-mounted heavy tractor beam emitters
Once popular with planetary defense forces throughout the galaxy, the Neutron Star was considered an all-around useful warship for planets with tight defense budgets, acting as an effective pirate deterrent and support vessel in larger fleets. Mercenaries often adapt the vessel to their specifications as well, as does the Rebel Alliance, who tend to configure the vessel as a starfighter carrier when Mon Calamari vessels are unavailable.

Carrier Conversion: 71,000 credits • 4 hard points. This conversion enables the Neutron Star to carry 36 starfighters and 2 shuttles in a dedicated hangar bay.

Rothana "Acclamator"-class Planetary Assault Ship
Acclamator-cruiser.jpg 110 million credits • Rarity 8R
Hyperdrive: Class 0.6 (Backup 10) • Navicomputer: Yes • Sensor Range: Long
Crew: 700 officers and crew • Passengers: up to 15,000 troops and assorted landing vehicles (originally 320 speeder bikes, 66 LAAT/i, 14 LAAT/c, 48 AT-TEs, 36 SPHA Walkers • Consumables: Six months • Cargo: 10,000 Encumbrance
Weapons: Three port and three starboard quad light turbolaser batteries, six forward-mounted quad light turbolaser batteries, twelve port and twelve starboard heavy laser cannons, four forward-mounted assault proton torpedo launchers
riginally deployed by the Republic during the Clone Wars, Star Destroyers are based on this workhorse cruiser. The remaining Imperial Acclamators have been pressed into other service in the Empire. Notably, they have been turned toward planetary defense and the transportation of prisoners and slaves to Imperial penal colonies and worksites. There have also been occasions where examples of this ship have fallen into the hands of other groups, who are careful to remain out of the Empire's attention for their possession.

Kuat EF76 "Nebulon-B" Escort Frigate
NebulonB-Frigate.jpg 8.5 million credits • Rarity 7R
Hyperdrive: Class 2 (Backup 12) • Navicomputer: Yes • Sensor Range: Long
Crew: 920 officers, pilots, and crew • Passengers: 75 troops; 24 starfighters • Consumables: Two years • Cargo: 4000 Encumbrance (depending on configuration)

One of the first new vessels developed for the use of the Imperial Navy, they are usually assigned to tasks beneath Star Destroyers, such as convoy escort, scouting, and picket duties. Much to Imperial chagrin, more than a few of these vessels have made it into Rebel and other hands. Possession by non-Imperial personnel is restricted.

Kuat "Pelta"-class Frigate
Pelta-frigate.jpg 7.25 million credits • Rarity 6R
Hyperdrive: Class 2 (Backup 16) • Navicomputer: Yes • Sensor Range: Long
Crew: 900 officers and crew • Passengers: up to 300, depending on configuration • Consumables: One month • Cargo: up to 6000 Encumbrance, depending on configuration

A staple of the Republic navy, the Pelta frigate was a versatile, highly modular sub-capital ship that fulfilled multiple purposes: command vessel, supply ship, and medical center, most often. The Pelta formed the backbone of fleet logistics pre-Clone Wars and during it. The Empire seemed to have no interest in deploying these vessels for their own use, and as a result many of them found their way into other hands, including Rebels.

Mon Calamari MC30c Frigate
MC30c-Frigate.jpg 9.5 million credits • Rarity 6R
Hyperdrive: Class 1 (Backup 15) • Navicomputer: Yes • Sensor Range: Long
Crew: 820 officers and crew • Passengers: 95 troops • Consumables: Two years • Cargo: 3500 Encumbrance (depending on configuration)
Weapons: Two forward-mounted heavy proton torpedo launchers, eight port and eight starboard turret-mounted medium turbolasers, five starboard and five port and three forward and three after twin medium laser cannons, two starboard and two port and one forward and one aft cluster bomb launchers
As with many of the Mon Calamari ships that have been refitted for Rebel use, the MC30c began as a small city-ship. Redesigned as a high-speed attack frigate, the MC30c is capable of inflicting heavy damage on enemy ships in a short amount of time. Though it has very light armor, the ship is equipped with a powerful defense shield. Like most Mon Calamari ships, the MC30c is capable of being sumerged in water and operating normally; it is also common to find it filled with water rather than atmosphere when in service to Mon Cala crews.

An ancient vessel, the Xanters were created nearly five hundred years ago to capitalize on one of the many Outer Rim expansion and colonization drives. The ship can last for years without resupply, and is designed with the assumption of long-term living, including roomy private quarters and ample entertainment suites. The glass-surrounded observation deck also has hydroponic gardens to provide fresh food and oxygen. It is still definitely a warship, however, with bulkheads that can seal off sections and even a retractable durasteel cover for the observation deck, and ample capital-ship style weaponry batteries. Though the Xanter is no longer produced, it is still possible to find these ships among some corporations and expeditions in the Outer Rim.

One of the largest and most flamboyantly exclusive luxury liners in production, the Indulgent is a spacegoing monument to wealth and flagrant excess. Each ship features multiple restaurants, a wide variety of nightlife establishments, zero-g pools of various sizes, spas and health clubs, and an opulent casino, at minimum. These vessels tend to take circuitous destination paths, stopping off at scenic locales. As a result, they are also well-armed and set up with powerful electronic counter-measures, as well as powerful HoloNet transceivers for sending emergency distress calls.
