The Great Wheel Freehold

The Great Wheel Freehold is New York’s primary freehold. Though it was once made up of several technically lesser freeholds throughout the Five Boroughs, the Great Wheel Freehold is now one of the largest single changeling freeholds in the world. Each of the boroughs is home to one of the four Courts, with Manhattan serving as “Equinox Isle,” where the Sovereigns of the Great Wheel Dominion rule jointly in seasonal pairs which change out at Summer and Winter Solstices.

Manhattan

Equinox Isle, home of the Dominion and gathering place for the most vicious of changeling politics, including the chapterhouses for the Entitlements, and home for the Courtless.

Bronx

Home of the Summer Court, as well as the Tolltaker Chapterhouse, from which the Tolltaker Knighthood is based.

Queens

Home of the Autumn Court, as well as the Dead Fields, home to the Scarecrow Ministry.

Brooklyn

Home of the Winter Court, as well as the Winter Palace, domain of the Duchy of the Icebound Heart.

Staten Island

Home of the Spring Court, as well as the Sparkling Bay, home of the Satrapy of Pearls.
