Ground Floor
- Front Hall & Lobbies: The front hall has been restored, including a new chandelier crafted and hung, and the staircases that lead up are in fine shape. One of the scriptorum's guards is basically here at almost any given hour.
- The lobby to the lower west tower is basically kept empty, though the dwarves are talking about setting up some carvings to display on the walls flanking the window here.
- The little reception room has relatively comfortable furnishings restored from decrepitude, and is used for entertaining visitors on a more formal basis. The connecting lamp room has been turned into an alcohol storage space, for treating guests to refreshments.
- The Royal Chambers: The guardians of the expedition have made this portion of the ground floor their residence. The royal chamber holds sturdy cots for the three defenders, while the old royal withdrawing chamber acts as an armory for weapons, and the royal bed chamber holds armor stands. The privy chamber is open to general use on this floor.
- The Southeastern Work Rooms: The greater reception room and drawing room both have been turned into workspaces for the dwarves here, where they work on creating the smaller, portable pieces or restoring the house's effects a few at a time. The old library has been turned into a materials storage room, with the old shelves now holding boxes, bags, bins, and stacks of various goods. The old cloak room has smaller things like nails, screws, springs, and similar components.
- The Bathing Chambers: Extravagant and decadent, the waterworks
- The Parlour & Stair-Rooms: These chambers are largely used as pass-through rooms, without furnishings or other noteworthy contents.
- The antechamber is used to store old work smocks and other garments dirtied by craftsfolk at work. It is noteworthy that the dwarves have bricked over the stairs down to the crypts below, out of respect for the dead.
- The Great Hall & Old Kitchen: The dwarves have restored the long trestle tables and individual wooden chairs in the great hall, and they frequently gather there in the evenings after a day's work. While none of them are cooks specifically (the expedition's cook drowned in the shipwreck on their way to Malixia), several of them are an okay hand at it, taking turns making meals.
First Floor
- The Duchess's Suite: The craftsfolk dwell here. The duchess's inner chamber is a bedroom for two of the craftsfolk, and the duchess's bed chamber has cots for another three. The duchess's parlour has comfortable furnishings, books, and other leisure elements (including a sideboard of good drink and snacks) where the craftsfolk get together to relax at the end of the day.
- Above the Front & Great Halls: The balcony railings both above the front hall and in the musician's gallery have been sturdily replaced, and the lobby has a newly-mounted door on the staircase that leads up, allowing the dwarves to secure this floor from the scavenger animals and effects of weather on the floor above.
- The Duke's Suite: This section has been effectively claimed by the scholars of the expedition. The duke's bed chamber and the duke's antechamber have cots for the scholars, and the duke's privy chamber retains that function.
- The former great dining hall is now a library, with an impressive supply of books, and the old smoking room is a scriptorum, with desks against the windows that let in plenty of daytime light. The dwarves have installed a door over the stairs that lead up.
Cellars
- The dwarves have reclaimed the cellars portions of this level, specifically the cellar, pantry, plate chamber, buttery, furniture stores, and beer & wine cellar.
- They have bricked up the passage between the beer & wine cellar and the laying out chamber, out of respect.
Other Floors
- The other floors of this structure are still worn out and decrepit.
The Nakaltian Delegation
The Nakaltian group consists of three main specialties: scholars (4 total), craftsfolk (5 total), and defenders (3 total).
