Background
I spent my whole life in the Order. I don't remember much of my life before then... just bits and pieces - my mother singing to me, my fathers laugh - that sort of drek.
The Jedi took me from my home, raised me, taught me, and then cast me aside.
Too reckless, too aggressive, too undisciplined they said... unfit for Jedi training. And that was that. Oh, but I wasn't free of them... Oh No! I was too strong in the Force to be allowed to just live my life... so they shuffled me off to the Service Corp, like the kids who could barely touch the Force... like some outdated Droid.
So I did the only sensible thing... I jumped out of there and headed home to Corellia to find my folks, only... get this... I wasn't good enough for them either! My mother tried to lecture me about duty and honor, about loyal service and self-sacrifice, about how I was running from my calling --- what did she know? I was meant for more than plowing some stinking field on an agra-world, or shuffling along behind some pompous diplomat! I could do more than just sense the Force... I could FEEL it swirling around me - filling me with energy - with power - driving me to act --- She'd never been a part of my life and I was a Hutt-Slimed fool for thinking she'd be there for me now --- as I left though, I found my father standing in the doorway - he pushed a bag into my arms and then walked off without a word. In it was the family's ancestral sword and shield guard. With no where left to go, I went back to the only place I'd ever known... the damned Temple.
They assigned me to the Exploration Corps, and for three years I hauled supplies to and from Jedi outposts, training grounds, and enclaves. Being in space was great, and most of the time, I got to be alone --- away from the stone-eyed-judgmental-wastoid Masters and their moof-milker Padawans. But I knew at the end of every hop the Jedi would be there with their disapproving gaze.
Then, like some great cosmic joke, they put me here - the star-spun Chu'unthor... just my luck...

- Master Durym was a Miralukan in the Jedi Order during the Republic Dark Age. He was among those Jedi who declared themselves "Jedi Lords," choosing to remain in one place to defend a given protectorate, and given temporal power by its citizenry as a result.
- Master Durym has a no-nonsense approach to teaching, with little interest in philosophy or esoteric thought, despite his species' predilection for such things. His instructions are practical and often severe, and he demands perfection in one topic before he moves onto the next.
- Rumors: There are no publicly known rumors about Master Durym Raegos' holocron. Indeed, most people don't even seem to know anything about it.
