Father: Simon Clark, Works as an electrical Engineer. Mother: Deborah Clark, Teaches Astronomy at MIT.

Rebecca has always had a fascination with how things fit together. In particular she was drawn to chemistry. On of the first birthday presents she remembers is a chemistry set from her father.

Shen she was 10 her TAG class had a field trip to a factory. She saw a worked trip and spill a chemical container near where another worker was moping a floor. She intuitively recognized that the chemical being spilled contained ammonia and that the floor was being mopped with bleach. Reacting on instinct she knelt down and touched the mop water, turning it all to inert H2O. In the confustion no one noticed that she had been the one to prevent the disaster, even if the report of the incident did cause her class to be flagged for observation.

Rebecca began to cautiously learn how to control her gift, being carefull to hide what she could do from her parents. At first she limited herself to transforming know materials into other materials (She has a small rock that has been every type of metal that she keeps in her pocket). Eventually, she started trying to create things with molecular properties that were only theorized by the most cutting edge scientists. Most of these attempts were interesting failures, as some of the molecular models were not actually possible. However Rebeecca did have a single major success. She managed to create a room tempature super conductor.

Her Highschool was hosting a Science fair, and she decided to unveil the superconductor as her entry into the fair.

Since arrivng at the Academy, Theogenes has created a list of rules for Alchemy, specifically banning her from doing certain activities (most of them involving overly creative uses of her power). While most of them are in response to sepcific incidents, a few of them were thought up as a preventative measure. See Alchemy's Rules

      • Alchemy has the ability to transform any matter into any other matter with a touch. She can do this on any object up to 400 lbs. Specifically her power allows her to change atoms into other atoms and rearrange the molecular structure of things she touches. Alchemical Effects
