A peaceful, sedate hamlet, Fargrann is home to a great many herders. Set at the edge of tree-covered foothills, Fargrann's citizens rarely see outsiders, for a simple reason: there's very little of interest here to them.

  • Argent Spire: Fargrann's seclusion made the hamlet attractive to the half-elf magus Clymendal some fifty years ago. He built his Argent Spire on the hills above the hamlet, overlooking the nearby Fargrann Pond. He and his apprentices are an infrequent sight in the town, but have been here long enough to be (barely) considered locals by the other residents.
  • Fargrann Pond: With a single footpath that leads through the hills to the water's edge, Fargrann Pond is a favorite destination for the locals for swimming and fishing. Given that the streams that feed it trickle out of the cold mountains around the valley, the pond is almost always quite cold. Still, there is nothing the locals like so much as a chilly dip in the middle of summer's heat, and the hamlet's youth spend many an hour in and beside the pond, or wandering the small wooded hills that surround it.
  • Fargrann Thane's Barn: Like all hamlets, Fargrann has a Thane's Barn which serves as a defensive structure, offices for the Thanesman (the person appointed by the Thane to help govern Fargrann), tax-collection point, and seed vault in case of catastrophe. The Thanesman of Fargrann is one of the oldest and most respected farmers of the area, Heldis Lumar, who used to run the Lumar dairy farm, but passed it on to his daughter Lia when he was appointed as Thanesman.
