- Plants and animals are indistinguishable, with most of them being tough-skinned tentacular creatures that slowly worm their way across the base of damp ravines.
- Recently settled by near-human refugees from Hettitite, threatened by supernova.
- The Sernpidalans (formerly Hettitites) appear similar to human albinos, with white hair, pale skin, and red eyes. They often dress in red-striped white robes with huge hoods. They are a deeply religious people, with one of their most important deities being the goddess Tosi-karu.
