Alpha Tau Omega (ATO)

Deacon-alders.jpg
Deacon Alders
Chapter President; Engineering Major (Senior); Baseball
Deacon is a senior who is the current president of the fraternity. He's well-known as one of the baseball team's best players. As fraternity president, he has a large room to himself.
Ep 101: Deacon gathered up Henry and Reese, as well as Mama J to give the two brothers an assignment: planning the Bonfire Night party for the frat.

Ep 101b: Deacon was found unconscious in the basement of the ATO house, when Henry, Jace and Stella were investigating the sabotage of the ATO house fuse box.
Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Room 1 & 2), University of Astoria (Student Center, Athletics Center, Innis Hall, Library)

StellaJalo.jpg
Stella Jalo
Den Mother
The resident advisor, Stella is a local who oversees the part-time cleaning and cooking staff, and acts as a "den mother" for the boys of the ATO.

Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (RA's Rooms), Kaffe
Bradley-humes.jpg
Bradley Humes
Athletics Major (Senior), Baseball
Boisterous and the unquestioning leader of the fraternity's partiers, Bradley is the sort who was obviously born for the Greek life. He is a second-generation ATO, and his father contributed a fat portion of funding that paid for the ATO house's furnishings (something he never lets anyone forget).

Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Room 8), University of Astoria (Athletics Center, Main Quad, Other frat houses), Crossroads
Brody caleb.jpg
Brody Higgins & Caleb Huffman
Currently General Science Majors (3rd Year Seniors); UofA Republicans, Social Gaming Club
Brody and Caleb are childhood friends that are rarely ever seen apart from each other. They spend most of their time on the couch in the ATO house watching television or playing video games. They are both third generation ATO and third year seniors having attended Wayne State University in Detroit, MI prior to transferring to UofA when it first began enrollment. They have changed their majors seven times since they began college and their parents don't seem to mind continuing to float the bill so long as they retain their ATO family pedigree.

Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Rooms 3 & 4), University of Astoria (Student Center, Library, Richmond Science Center, Athletics Center)
Reese-tavis.jpg
Reese Tavis
Archaeology Major (Junior); Wrestling & Rugby
Reese is a good guy: a member of the ATO and a good athlete, a solid low-As student (majoring in Archaeology, with a minor in Mass Communications), he's well-liked by most of the people he knows. Reese plays hooker position in rugby.
Ep 101: Reese was assigned the task of helping Henry plan the Bonfire Night party. His uncle brought Stella a box of his things.

Ep 101b: Resse's room was broken into during the ATO break in. We also discovered that Reese was in a short relationship with Victor Sutherland last year.

Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Room 18), University of Astoria (Athletics Center, Richmond Science Center, Main Quad, Student Center)

Henrymulgrew.jpg
Henry Mulgrew
Mass Communications Major (Junior); Wrestling, Cross-Country & Rugby
Henry is the newest member of ATO.

Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Room 17), University of Astoria (Athletics Center, Columbia Hall, Student Center [esp the [[Queer Resource Center] ).
Tyler doress.jpg
Tyler Doress
Engineering Major (Junior); Ballroom Dancing Club, Habitat for Humanity, Bowling Club
Tyler transferred to UofA from PSU last year. He is highly sociable but tends to be a quiet observer more than a contributor. He is a very active participants in the clubs he belongs to and always eager to lend a helping hand in fraternity events. He maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA, though he is rarely ever seen studying. Tyler has a girlfriend named Jin Ae that he has been dating long distance for six years. She lives in Korea and they met through World of Warcraft.

Ep 101b: Stella had initially mistaken the "large hulking figure" in the basement to be Tyler.
Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Room 7), University of Astoria (Student Center, Library, Innis Hall)

Carter-smythe1.jpg
Carter Smythe
Engineering Major (Sophomore); Cross Country, Rugby, Wrestling
Carter is a young former Eagle Scout who is attending university partially on a Scouting scholarship. He's an upstanding young man: a star rugby player and wrestler, good at academics, a faithful church-goer who does work with service organizations like Habitat For Humanity during his summers. He also helps run the campgrounds for the local Boy Scouts, as well. Carter was thrilled when Warner, someone from his old troop who'd been (to his mind) unfairly removed from the Scouts, showed up at the university, and they've struck up a tentative friendship again. If Carter has a weakness, it is the TA Neena Cosgrove, whom he asks out on a date at the end of every lecture he attends where she is presiding. To date, he's had no success, but he's sure he just needs to prove himself to her. In the short time since the new brother Henry has shown up, he and Carter have found themselves in a friendly rivalry.

Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Room 21), University of Astoria (Student Center, Library, Innis Hall, Athletics Center)
Justin baratiak.jpg
Justin Baratiak
Athletics Major (Sophomore); Baseball, Cross Country
Justin juggles working full time for the Astoria Trolley and a full load of courses on top of baseball and cross country. This being the case, he has precious little spare time. He lives in a tiny off campus apartment with his aunt. He frequently spends what little free time he can find at the ATO House where he decompresses with his friends or studies in the frequently abandoned study hall.

Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Room 11), University of Astoria (Athletic Center), Crosswalk Apartments, Astoria Trolley (work).
Kaleb-jackson.jpg
Kaleb Jackson
Marine Biology Major (Sophomore); Swim team, Coast Guard ROTC
Known throughout the frat house as "Grumpy Cat" for his general demeanor and bad attitude, Kaleb goes through life with a glare on his face. Though he doesn't have many immediate friends in the frat or out of it, he is dedicated to it as a whole - unsurprising given the fact that his father is ATO as well, and donated about half of the funds used to furnish the downstairs.

Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Room 14), University of Astoria (MERTS Campus, Patriot Hall, Richmond Science Center).
Dan-montoya.jpg
Dan Montoya
History Major (Sophomore); Cross Country, Basketball
Dan is very gregarious and makes a point of getting to know just about everyone that he encounters on anything like a regular basis. He's also the go-to guy for brothers who're having problems with history or writing work in general. He's something of a local, as well.

Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Room 24), University of Astoria (Athletic Center, Patriot Hall), His mother's home in Warrenton.
Eric-clasen.jpg
Eric Clasen
Mechanical Engineering Major (Sophomore); Rugby, Coast Guard ROTC
Eric is pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree under a Coast Guard ROTC scholarship. Absolutely mad for Rugby he decided on the University of Astoria so that he could play and not have to leave the Oregon Coast to go to college. Eric seems to split his time between studying, partying at the ATO house, and working out at the Athletic center.

Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Room 13), University of Astoria (Athletic Center, Innis Hall).
Scott-torres.jpg
Scott Garcia Torres
English and Music Major (Sophomore), Wrestling, Boxing, Dance.
A California transplant, Scott is a driven young man who keeps busy athletically and academically. His frat brothers see him as a withdrawn and taciturn tough guy, but he is actually a brony who is afraid to come out to his frat. He is an aspiring playwright and musical writer who keeps his scripts of musical vignettes for the ponies a closely guarded secret published online under the pseudonym Hoof Cadence.

Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Room x), University of Astoria (Towler Hall, Alder Hall, Athletics Center)
Pieter-kostina.jpg
Pieter Kostina
Agriculture & Business Dual Major (Freshman)
The nephew of an ATO alum who worked to get the young man in the fraternity, Pieter grew up in Volgograd, Russia. Though he is bilingual, his speech is still somewhat heavily accented - he's only been in the United States since his senior year in high school. He's bright, if a little shy.

Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Room 15), University of Astoria (Delphis Hall, Columbia Hall), his uncle's house in Portland, OR.
Nick-marchant.jpg
Nick Marchant
Undeclared Major (Freshman); Wrestling
Another freshman who is part of the fraternity because his father was, Nick always seems a bit overwhelmed at the university experience. Though he's got something of a reputation as a bit of a follower, he's also a great guy to have around at parties. For some reason, he also seems to have quite a way with the ladies.

Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Room 16), University of Astoria (Richmond Science Center, Towler Hall, Student Center).
Eddy-tsung.jpg
Eddy Tsung
Education Major (Freshman); Cross Country, Baseball
An Astoria local, Eddy has a half-assed intention of becoming a high school teacher, but is far more interested in his athletics program, hoping to find a place in professional baseball at some point.

Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Room 19), University of Astoria (Athletics Center, Kant Hall), his family home in the Alameda/WestLex neighborhood of Astoria.
Roger-vinings.jpg
Roger Vinings
Computer Major (Freshman); Swim Team
Though the frat house nominally has maintenance to deal with such things, Roger immediately took up that responsibility when he was inducted into the ATO last year. Though this is his second year as a freshman, he started in Winter term last year, and rushed the frat that term.

Common Locations: ATO Fraternity House (Room 20), University of Astoria (Innis Hall, Athletics Center).

Delta Omicron Sigma (DOS)

DSOSeal.jpg
  • Astoria chapter of the national Delta Sigma Omicron veteran's fraternity.
  • Currently assigned one of the Greek Row Houses on campus.
  • Has a local reputation as being fairly quiet, with a large population of local ex-military.
  • Population: 18 (3 senior, 5 juniors, 4 sophomores, 6 freshmen)
Davis-monk.jpg
Davis Monk
Communications Major (Sophomore); Marine Veteran
A fairly quiet man with a reputation for his stony silences, Davis received a Medal of Valor and Purple Heart for his service in Afghanistan, where he lost his leg. He's something of a loner, although polite enough to most people he meets.
Ep 102: Shows up at the Bonfire with his Czechoslovakian Wolfdog, Ares.
Common Locations: DOS Fraternity House (Room xxx), University of Astoria (Athletics Center, Columbia Hall), Student Center (Food Court)

Phi Sigma Nu (PSN)

PSNSeal.jpg
  • Astoria chapter of the national Phi Sigma Nu Native men's fraternity.
  • Currently assigned one of the Greek Row Houses on campus.
  • Has a local reputation as being active in social justice, particularly the effort to get the Clatsop-Nehalem Confederated Tribes recognition.
  • Population: 9 (2 senior, 4 juniors, 2 sophomores, 1 freshmen)
Victor-sutherland.jpg
Victor Sutherland
Wildlife Conservation (Sophomore)
With a reputation for both intelligence and a temper, Victor is an intensely private person. He can also be very intimidating when he tries.
Ep 101b: When the PC's were planning for the bonfire, Victor was taking their pictures with his cellphone. He also surprised Thomas by having reflexes fast enough to stop him from swiping a phone.
Common Locations: PSN Fraternity House (Room xxx), University of Astoria (MERTS Campus, Delphis Hall).

Theta Phi Alpha (TPA)

TPASeal.jpg
  • Astoria chapter of the national Theta Phi Alpha sorority.
  • Currently assigned one of the Greek Row Houses on campus.
  • Has a local reputation as the only sorority, with a very diverse membership.
  • Population: 14 (1 senior, 2 juniors, 4 sophomores, 5 freshmen)
  • Other Sisters, by Name: Lyssa (Junior), Bethany (Sophomore)
Aedia-randall.jpg
Aedia Randall
Chapter President; Business, specializing in green technologies and conservation; Cross-Country and Swim Team
The president of Theta Phi Alpha, Aedia comes from money. She's no spoiled debutante belle, though, or snooty New England royalty. She's definitely a Pacific Northwestern girl, all piercings and a preference for house music. She's really damned good at most of the things she puts her mind to, and looks down on everyone else around her. She claims to hold herself and everyone around her to a high standard, but most people agree she's just kind of a superior bitch, even if she is fucking irritatingly good at what she does. Unlike most queen-bee types, she doesn't have a clique of girls who follow at her beck and call, however - so far, no one's managed to live up to her high standards. Aedia also has a cousin who is a TA at the university, and the two of them spend occasional time together.
Ep 101: Aedia appeared at the Crossroads while Jace and Thomas were there. She paid attention to Jace just long enough to get drinks off of him, and then hooked up with some meat-head athlete.

Common Locations: TPA Sorority House (Room 1&2), University of Astoria (Athletics Center, Columbia Hall, Innis Hall, Student Center), the Crossroads
Miranda-Barnes.jpg
Miranda Barnes
Psychology Major (Sophomore)
One of the small clique of girls who seem to orbit Aedia, Miranda is arguably the quietest one of them all. She recently managed to land the attentions of Jace Evans, to the envy of her girlfriends, but doesn't seem sure what to make of it.
Ep 101: Part of Aedia's crew at the Crossroads, she was among those left to entertain Jace (a task she didn't seem to object to at all). He was cool toward her, and she ended up giving him a handjob in the car outside, before they went their separate ways.

Common Locations: TPA Sorority House, University of Astoria (Kant Hall, Student Center, Alder Hall), the Crossroads
