House Wisent, a banner house of the Starks. Ensconced at the southern edge of the Wolfwood, the Wisents are an ancient lineage, their blood going back to the time of Aegon's Conquest.

Houses of the North

In this context, there is a single Great House (House Stark, at Status 8), appointed as the Warden of the North. Below them are Major Houses (Status 7), and then Houses (Status 6). Below those are Minor Houses (Status 5), and Landed Knight Households (Status 3) who serve them. Of noteworthy exception to this are the so-called Masterly Houses (Status 4), who are Landed Knight Households in direct service to the Warden of the North.
